Nurturing mothers2mothers – from infancy to major international NGO.

Mothers2mothers believes in the power of mothers to end paediatric AIDS. They do so by training, employing and empowering mothers living with HIV to bring health and hope to other mothers, their families and communities. We’ve travelled a long journey with mothers2mothers, since their establishment in Cape Town in 2001, reaching 1.2 million women with HIV in 9 countries, with the help of sponsors such as Johnson & Johnson, Elton John Aids Foundation, Engender Health and UNICEF. Because we believe paediatric Aids is preventable, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of their rising impact from local to global organisation.
